Warranty Registration

Thank you purchasing our product(s). Warranty is valid only if it is duly completed by the customer and stamped by the authorized dealer/retailer or attached with relevant proof of purchase and returned within 14 days from date of purchase OR registered online within 14 days from date of purchase. By sending the warranty card to "Song-Cho (Imp & Exp) Pte Ltd" ("Song-Cho") or registering the warranty online (or acknowledging any other form of documentation presented to you by Song-Cho), you are deemed to be agreeable to the terms and conditions stated. The warranty obligation of Song-Cho for the product(s) are limited to the terms set forth below. Song-Cho reserves the rights to modify or amend the terms and conditions of the warranty without prior notification.

STAINLESS STEEL RACKING AND STORAGE

  • 1. Period of Warranty Coverage
      • Life-time warranty against rust for “Wel-Mi” and “Song-Cho” brand stainless steel series (please refer to “Responsibilities of Customers” and “Limited Warranty and Services” for more information).  5 years’ free maintenance for any damaged wire parts. A charge is applicable after the warranty has expired (please refer to “Limited Warranty and Services” for maintenance coverage).

  • 2. Limited Warranty and Services
      • Only “Wel-Mi” and “Song-Cho” brand stainless steel series are eligible for warranty and maintenance services. 5 years’ free off-site maintenance is provided only for wire portion that fell off from the stainless steel product due to factory defect. A welding fee shall apply for non-factory defects. This product shall be used solely for domestic purposes and not for any other purposes whatsoever and used strictly in accordance with the instruction as provided by the manufacturer of the product.

        Warranty does not cover the following:

        •    inadequate handling of the products (e.g. dropping and/or hitting resulting in damages).
        •    any bending and/or alteration of the wire portions.
        •    parts (e.g. runners, melamine trays).
        •    damages resulting from re-assembly of the stainless steel products.
        •    damages due to exerting too much weight onto the stainless steel products resulting in spoilage of wire portion.
        •    any part(s) of the product is/are removed/ altered/ tampered/ adjusted/ dismantled/ damaged through misuse/ negligence/ wear & tear/ exposure to extreme temperatures, and product repaired/handled in any way whatsoever by any person(s) not authorized by us.
        •    any stain or dirt due to lack of maintenance.


        Warranty is valid for purchase and use in SINGAPORE and for purchase made at our MALAYSIA showroom only.

  • 3. Responsibilities Of The Customers
      • •    Perform all steps for self-test and trouble-shooting.
        •    Perform all maintenance and cleaning of the product as instructed under "Maintenance of Stainless Steel.”
        •    The warranty card or receipt needs to be presented when the product which requires servicing is being sent to our Service Centre.
        •    Provide all information including the model number, invoice/receipt number, place of purchase and the issue faced.
        •    Customer is required to bring the product to and fro our Service Centre whenever servicing is needed. Cost of transportation of product for servicing and/or repair is to be borne by the customer. No on-site service will be provided.
        •    Customer will be informed of the status (repaired or non-repairable) of the sent product. Customer must collect the product from our Service Centre within 4 weeks upon notification, after which the product will be disposed of. We will not be liable for any losses after disposal.
         

  • 4. Warranty Repair Policy
      • •    We will need approximately two weeks to repair any defective product and this may be prolonged to a maximum of four weeks depending on the extent of damage.
        •    Subject to exceptional situation and customer acceptance, we may take back any defective product on an exchange basis. The replaced product shall have the same functionality, however, may not necessarily be a new or unused product.
        •    The replaced product shall be subjected to the same warranty condition.
        •    Our decision on all questions relating to defects either of workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the customer shall agree to and abide by such a decision. Any product or defective parts that have been replaced shall become our property.

         

        Note: Items without Wel-Mi or Song-Cho logo and any other non stainless steel accessories are not under warranty.

KITCHEN SYSTEM AND SINK

  • 1. Period of Warranty Coverage
      • The warranty period starts with effect from the invoice date. Limited warranty period of 12 months for KITCHEN PRODUCTS (includes SINK) and WORK TOP under CENTRO, STEDIA, CLEANLADY and S.S. for factory defects only. Please refer to the terms and conditions under “Limited Warranty and Services” listed herein.

  • 2. Limited Warranty and Services
      • •    This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship (“factory defects”) under normal use during warranty period. 
        •    Please note that any spare parts and servicing are chargeable if they do not fall under factory defects and/or the warranty has expired.
        •    This product shall be used solely for domestic purposes and not for any other purposes whatsoever and used strictly in accordance with the instruction for operation as provided by the manufacturer of the product.
        •    This warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance of the product and/or ignoring the warning listed below (same as the warning label attached to the product).

        o    Do not rub the surface with detergent (including polishing material) or using scrubbing brush made of metal.
        o    When food with thick pigments (e.g. kimchi, curry, coffee, etc.), dirt on cloth, or alkaline detergent come in contact with the surface of artificial marble counter tops, remove them immediately.
        o    Do not drain/pour hot oil or boiling water directly into the sink and/or countertop.
        o    Do not put boiling kettle or heated frying pan directly on the surface.
        o    Do not touch areas around the stove during or right after cooking.
        o    Do not use any kind of chlorinated detergents on stainless steel countertops.
        o    Do not leave salt, soy sauce, water, dirt, knives and any material other than stainless steel on the surface for a long time.
        o    Do not leave rubber or resin materials on the artificial marble counter tops for a long time.
        o    If the drain pipe is connected by a hose, do not conduct high pressure washing. Using a resin hose to clean is recommended.

        •    Our decision on all questions relating to defects either of workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the customer shall agree to and abide by such a decision. Any product or defective parts that have been replaced shall become our property.

KITCHEN APPLIANCES

  • 1. Period of Warranty Coverage
      • 12 months from the date of purchase due to manufacturing defects. Please refer to the terms and conditions under “Limited Warranty and Services” listed herein.

  • 2. Limited Warranty and Services
      • •    The warranty shall be invalid if the card and/or the card number is being erased/defaced/altered.
        •    This product is guaranteed against defective materials, manufacturing faults and malfunctioning under normal usage for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. (With the exception of motors/heating elements which is guaranteed for 6 months and will be replaced only once without charge; subsequent replacement is chargeable).
        •    This product shall be used solely for domestic purposes and not for any other purposes whatsoever and used strictly in accordance with the instruction for operation as provided by the manufacturer of the product.
        •    A User Guide is available in each packaging and spells out the care and maintenance required for the product. The warranty will not apply if there is any evidence of misuse and failure to follow the User Guide properly. Please read the instructions carefully before using the product.
        •    This warranty shall be invalid if any part(s) of the product is/are removed/ altered/ tampered/ adjusted/ dismantled/ damaged through misuse/ negligence/ wear & tear/ exposure to extreme temperatures or which has rating label/model number removed/defaced, and product repaired/handled in any way whatsoever by any person(s) not authorized by us.
        •    This warranty does not cover damages to the thermostat, thermal coating, glass parts, inner pans/pots, outer pots, plastic parts, lamp bulbs/tubes, knobs, handles, trays, and blades.
        •    All handheld remote controls, batteries, earphones, filter, inter-connectors, knobs cables/cord assembly, antennae, adaptors, front panel, cover, lens, plugs, sockets and accessories do not come with a warranty.
        •    This warranty does not cover damages if product has been immersed in water, heating element comes in contact with water, and any other nature causes, accident and catastrophic events; fire, flood, and lightning.


        Warranty is valid for purchase and use in SINGAPORE and for purchase made at our MALAYSIA showroom only.

  • 3. Responsibilities of Customers
      • •    Perform all steps for self-test and trouble-shooting.
        •    The warranty card, together with receipt/bill/invoice must be presented when sending the purchased product for repair and/or servicing. Otherwise, prevailing charges will be payable.
        •    Provide all information including the model number, invoice number, place of purchase and the issue faced.
        •    Customer is required to bring the product to and fro our Service Centre whenever servicing is needed. Cost of transportation of product for servicing and/or repair is to be borne by the customer. No on-site service will be provided unless otherwise stated.
        •    Customer will be informed of the status (repaired or non-repairable) of the sent product. Upon notification, he/she must collect the product from the Service Centre within 4 weeks, after which the product will be disposed of. We will not be liable for any losses after disposal.
         

  • 4. Warranty Repair Policy
      • •    We will need approximately two weeks to repair any defective product and this may be prolonged to a maximum of four weeks depending on the extent of damage.
        •    Subject to exceptional circumstances and customer acceptance, we may take back any defective product on an exchange basis. The replaced product shall have the same functionality, however, may not necessarily be a new or unused product.
        •    The replaced product shall be subjected to the same warranty condition.
        •    Our decision on all questions relating to defects either of workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the customer shall agree to and abide by such a decision. Any product or defective parts that have been replaced shall become our property.
         

COOKWARE

  • 1. Period of Warranty Coverage
      • • Pressure Cooker: One (1) month from the date of purchase due to manufacturing defects. Please refer to the terms and conditions under “Limited Warranty and Services” listed herein.

        • Others: Customers are to check the products carefully and alert the sales personnel of any defects during purchase.

  • 2. Limited Warranty and Services
      • •    The warranty shall be invalid if the card and/or the card number is being erased/defaced/altered.
        •    This product shall be used solely for domestic purposes and not for any other purposes whatsoever and used strictly in accordance with the instruction for operation as provided by the manufacturer of the product.
        •    A User Guide is available in each packaging and spells out the care and maintenance required for the cookware. The warranty will not apply if there is any evidence of misuse and failure to follow the User Guide properly. Please read the instructions carefully before using the products.
        •    This warranty shall be invalid if any part(s) of the product is/are removed/ altered/ tampered/ adjusted/ dismantled/ damaged through misuse/ negligence/ wear & tear/ exposure to extreme temperatures or which has rating label/model number removed/defaced, and product repaired/handled in any way whatsoever by any person(s) not authorized by us.
        •    A fee is chargeable for part(s) replacement of the cookware (e.g. knob, handle, silicon ring, etc.) within and out of warranty period.
        •    The warranty does NOT cover special-priced factory items.


        Warranty is valid for purchase and use in SINGAPORE and for purchase made at our MALAYSIA showroom only.

        •    The replaced product shall be subjected to the same warranty condition.
        •    Our decision on all questions relating to defects either of workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the customer shall agree to and abide by such a decision. Any product or defective parts that have been replaced shall become our property.
         

WATER FILTER SYSTEM

  • 1. Period of Warranty Coverage
      • 12 months from the date of purchase due to manufacturing defects. Please refer to the terms and conditions under “Limited Warranty and Services” listed herein.

  • 2. Limited Warranty and Services
      • •    Servicing and spare part charges are applicable if the servicing technicians ascertained that the damage is not due to manufacturing defects.
        •    This product shall be used solely for domestic purposes and not for any other purposes whatsoever and used strictly in accordance with the instruction for operation as provided by the manufacturer of the product.
        •    This warranty shall be invalid if any part(s) of the product is/are removed/ altered/ tampered/ adjusted/ dismantled/ damaged through misuse/ negligence/ wear & tear/exposure to extreme temperatures or which has rating label/model number removed/defaced, and product repaired/handled in any way whatsoever by any person(s) not authorized by us.
        •    Our decision on all questions relating to defects either of workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the customer shall agree to and abide by such a decision. Any product or defective parts that have been replaced shall become our property.


        Warranty is valid for purchase and use in SINGAPORE and for purchase made at our MALAYSIA showroom only.

  • 3. Responsibilities of Customers
      • •    Receipt must be presented during repair and/or servicing. Otherwise, prevailing charges will be applicable.
        •    Use according to recommendation. Recommended usage condition of Song-Cho water filter:

        o    Pressure below 7 bar (100PSI)
        o    No hot water allowed
         

FAUCET

  • 1. Period of Warranty Coverage
      • 12 months from the date of purchase in accordance due to manufacturing defects. Please refer to the terms and conditions under “Limited Warranty and Services” listed herein.

  • 2. Limited Warranty and Services
      • •    Only “Song-Cho” brand faucet and other faucet brands carried by us are eligible for the warranty and maintenance.
        •    Servicing and spare part charges are applicable if the servicing technicians ascertained that the damage is not due to manufacturing defects.
        •    This product shall be used solely for domestic purposes and not for any other purposes whatsoever and used strictly in accordance with the instruction for operation as provided by the manufacturer of the product.
        •    This warranty shall be invalid if any part(s) of the product is/are removed/ altered/ tampered/ adjusted/ dismantled/ damaged through misuse/ negligence/ wear & tear/exposure to extreme temperatures or which has rating label/model number removed/defaced, and product repaired/handled in any way whatsoever by any person(s) not authorized by us.
        •    Our decision on all questions relating to defects either of workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the customer shall agree to and abide by such a decision. Any product or defective parts that have been replaced shall become our property.


        Warranty is valid for purchase and use in SINGAPORE and for purchase made at our MALAYSIA showroom only.

  • 3. Responsibilities of Customers
      • •    Defective parts must be returned to authorized distributor or dealer where purchase was made. Following information is required:

        o    Copy of invoice or receipt of purchase
        o    Contact details

        •    Use according to recommendation. Recommended usage condition of Song-Cho faucets:

        o    Pressure below 5 bar (70PSI)
        o    Water temperature below 65°C
         

LED HOUSEHOLD LIGHTING

  • 1. Period of Warranty Coverage
      • 12 months from the date of purchase in accordance due to manufacturing defects. Please refer to the terms and conditions under “Limited Warranty and Services” listed herein.

  • 2. Limited Warranty and Services
      • •    Only LED lighting purchased from our showrooms is eligible for warranty.
        •    Broken light(s) and surface scratches detected are not covered under the warranty.
        •    This warranty shall be invalid if any part(s) of the product is/are removed/ altered/ tampered/ adjusted/ dismantled/ damaged through misuse/ negligence/ wear & tear/exposure to extreme temperatures or which has rating label/model number removed/defaced, and product repaired/handled in any way whatsoever by any person(s) not authorized by us.
        •    Our decision on all questions relating to defects either of workmanship or of materials shall be conclusive and the customer shall agree to and abide by such a decision. Any product or defective parts that have been replaced shall become our property.


        Warranty is valid for purchase and use in SINGAPORE and for purchase made at our MALAYSIA showroom only.

  • 3. Responsibilities of Customers
      • •    Faulty LED must be returned to the outlet where purchase was made.
        •    Following information is required:

        o    Copy of invoice or receipt of purchase
